RESN8 Gallery & Studio invites you to Guy McIntosh, Painting Meditations

With over 40 years as an award winning illustrator and art director, Guy has turned his focus to the fine art of still lifes and portraits. His work is currently on display in well-known companies and the homes of many celebrities.

He has spent the last 5 years creating fine art paintings inspired by the old masters techniques of the Baroque era. Using the medium of acrylics and utilizing a traditional approach allows Guy the flexibility to create a mood that has a more contemporary, vibrant look without being photo realistic.

Painting for Guy is a personal journey that incorporates lessons from his career and the discovery of new insights to himself and the many collectors of his work.

Grand Opening of Qfit

On November 3rd from 6-9 pm Melissa Quarles, owner and personal trainer, invites you to explore the 1,300 sq. ft. of newly renovated space, services and amenities. Enjoy light refreshments, grand opening new client specials on training sessions and supplements, and enter to win (4) free 1 hour private training sessions. The lucky winner will be announced at noon on Saturday live on the Qfit Facebook page!

QFit is a private, personal training studio providing cutting edge training methods and taking a creative approach to personalized nutrition coaching with attention to detail and professionalism. Quality over quantity is at the core of their business model.

They enhance individuals' quality of life by teaching proper fitness techniques and the importance of a sound nutrition. By tailoring a program to meet specific needs and goals, each client can achieve a long-term life plan that supports their particular lifestyle. Living a healthy lifestyle is a journey, not a quick fix.

Fitness and wellness have not always been a part of Melissa's life having grown up as the fat kid who was always made fun of. At the age of 19, she began losing a lot of weight for the wrong reason; stress. However, that convinced her to lose 80 pounds before taking the next important step, starting to work out at a gym that motivated her desire to be "healthy" and inspired her to pursue certification as a personal trainer and nutritional consultant.

As a ten-year veteran in the personal training and nutritional coaching arena, she follows the mantra:  "Eat Fit. Live Fit. Be Fit."
