but they make our lives whole

Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP)
SAAP works with other organizations and individuals to save stray and discarded animals in the Northern Kentucky / Greater Cincinnati area. They are a completely volunteer organization and rely on private donations, adoption fees and volunteers.

Funded entirely by donations and operated solely by volunteers, our no-kill shelter currently homes over 600 dogs and cats, many of whom have been abused, abandoned or literally tossed away. Teams of volunteers work with the animals two shifts a day, 365 days a year, providing them with a safe and caring environment until they can place them in permanent, loving homes.
Visit them at 504 Fairfield Avenue.
Their goal is to create an accepting and compassionate culture in which abused, unwanted and stigmatized dogs such as bully breed mixes, reside and thrive in well informed, responsible, loving homes and communities. CPC helps relieve suffering of and prevent cruelty to all dogs, but more importantly ensure that bully breed dogs are treated in a humane manner through the dissemination of educational content, public offering of training or behavior modification resources and participation in community outreach programs.
Owen County Friends of Animals Inc.
Owen County Friends of Animals, Inc. was started in 2005 due to the horrible treatment of shelter animals in Owen County. Thier goal is to save as many shelter dogs as possible from an untimely death. They also strive to educate people about the benefits of spaying or neutering your pet.
Save our Shelter Dogs
Save Our Shelter Dogs is a small volunteer-only group of individuals with the common desire to help the "forgotten" dogs. We go into shelters and take the dogs that are next in line for euthanasia. They are not breed specific. They take them all. They provide vaccinations, heartworm testing, spay or neuters, heartworm and flea treatment, and additional medical care necessary for these foster dogs.
They'll be under the marquee at the Marianne Theater.
They are a full service animal hospital located at 102 Fairfield Ave. They understand that your pet is part of your family and we are here to provide quality care medicine to them. They strive to be a part of the community and enrich the human animal bond.
They'll be welcoming you in front of St. John UCC.
Perfection K-9 Services is a full service bed bug inspection and bed bug removal company in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Bed bugs hide during the day in the cracks and crevices of furniture seams, carpet materials, between mattress and box spring and even in the cracks of baseboards. Complete bed bug control and extermination can be nearly impossible to achieve without professional guidance and help.
Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter Clinic enriches the lives of cats and communities in Greater Cincinnati by providing low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services for ferals, strays and pets; offering TNR (trap-neuter-return) and other outreach programs; and running a small, no-kill adoption center dedicated to finding loving homes.
Rattie Tattie Rescue
They have been doing rat rescue for over 10 years and have placed over 1,000 rats into their loving forever homes in Ohio and several surrounding states. They use foster homes and do not breed rats. There are far too many animals dying daily because there are not enough homes. All of the rats that come to them are surrendered by owner or come from emergency situations such as hoarding cases, shelters not equipped to care for rats or other crises.
